The Business Retention and Expansion Team consists of representatives from the Pearland Economic Development Corporation (PEDC) and the Pearland Chamber of Commerce. Together, we work toward establishing relationships with business and industry by visiting and sharing available resources while addressing issues or needs businesses may have.

Whatever the training need is, the BizConnect Team will work with you to bring a suitable business training partner  to create solutions. We can assist with local and state incentives for businesses that create and maintain primary jobs.  Incentive packages are determined by type of business, quality of jobs created or retained, wages paid, capital investment and overall community impact. BizConnect acts as a facilitator for businesses and developers looking to invest in Pearland. The team can handle questions, meeting coordination and communication as the project moves through the development process. BizConnect will work directly with the business development team, including architects, engineers and planners, to minimize project delays and maximize the business’ visibility on the project’s deadlines and expected milestones.
