ABOUT US
The Pearland Chamber of Commerce is built on the entrepreneurial spirit and civic pride that have shaped Pearland for generations. Since 1963, the Chamber has served as the voice of business, bringing together business leaders, community partners, and stakeholders to promote growth, strengthen commerce, build leaders, and improve quality of life. As Pearland continues to grow and evolve, the Chamber remains committed to leading with purpose, collaborating with intention, and serving as a driving force for prosperity across our region.
Today, the Chamber continues that legacy with a clear mission: Serve Business. Promote Growth. Empower Community. Guided by our vision of unified communities with thriving businesses and extraordinary quality of life, we are focused on helping Pearland remain a community of choice for people, businesses, and future investment.
This commitment to excellence has earned the Pearland Chamber national recognition. In 2023, the Chamber was named Chamber of the Year by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, one of the highest honors in the chamber industry. The Chamber is also proud to hold 5-Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, recognizing sound policies, effective organizational procedures, and meaningful impact in the community.
The Chamber’s work is centered around four focus areas: Business, Community, Talent, and Chamber Facility. Through these areas, we connect people and organizations, advocate for pro-business policies, innovate to meet changing needs, and catalyze programs and partnerships that create measurable impact.
Our board of directors, staff, business leaders, and community partners work together to support business success, strengthen workforce and leadership development, encourage entrepreneurship, advance quality of place, and convene conversations that move Pearland forward. Whether supporting a growing business, championing major community priorities, developing future leaders, or helping shape the next chapter of Pearland’s growth, the Chamber remains committed to being a trusted partner and catalyst for progress.

Many factors are considered when selecting Member of the Year. Some of our members volunteer their time as it helps promote their business, others step up and become engaged with becoming member of a committee, while others increase their involvement by taking an active leadership role. Financial contributions are not overlooked though they are definitely not the only consideration. We appreciate all of the roles each member fills in this one big association puzzle.
