The Alvin Community College Licensed Vocational Nursing program held its annual Pinning Ceremony on May 12.
The Pinning Ceremony for the 21 graduates included receiving their pin, lighting of the ceremonial lamps and reciting the Nurse’s Pledge.
Each of the graduates also had an opportunity to thank their families and friends for their support as well as thanking the ACC faculty for their role in earning their education.
The ACC LVN program has posted a 100 percent pass rate on the licensure exam for the past 10 years.
