    Job Description


    Position: Administrative Specialist / Assistant to the Controller
    Employment Type: Full-Time (M-F 8am-5pm)


    General Purpose:

    This position provides assistance to the Company Controller by performing a variety of tasks related to Accounts
    Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Billing, Employee Timecards and Management Reports.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

            • Manages the accurate and timely processing of A/P invoices and enter into accounting systems
            • Reviews and matches invoices and obtains approvals prior to payment (A/P)
            • Reconciles monthly customer account statements (A/R)
            • Researches and resolves billing problems with customers ( A/R)
            • Initiates collection calls for Non-Responsive A/R past account terms
            • Performs customer account reconciliations (A/R)
            • Assists with month-end closing
            • Performs other related tasks as assigned by Controller

    Education and Experience:

            • Minimum of 2-years of office and general accounting experience
            • Knowledge of office administration and procedures
            • Proficient in relevant and common computer software (including, but not limited to, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc.)
            • Proficient in Industry-Specific computer software program known as SOFTBASE – highly preferred, but not required
            • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience

            • Must possess the ability to answer incoming telephone calls and effectively distribute calls to appropriate person
            • Must possess the ability to interact and communicate with customers, vendors, and colleagues in a professional manner at all times
            • Must possess the ability to handle frequent interruptions without compromising attention to detail, accuracy, and a positive attitude
            • Must be able to work in an organized and efficient manner on a daily basis
            • Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality of any and all information (including, but not limited to financial & credit information) associated with Frontier Forklifts (employer), customers, vendors, etc.
            • Must possess above-average computer skills
            • Must possess reliable transportation & a valid Driver License with the ability to arrive at work on time every day
            • Must be able to pass the following Pre-Employment screens:
                    o     Criminal Background Check
                    o     Pre-Employment Drug Screen
                    o     Credit Check

    Compensation:
        
            • Pay range: $17.00 - $20.00/hour
            • Medical & Health Benefits available after 60 days
            • Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay
            • Matching 401K
